Open gym is back after summer break.  Wednesdays 8:30-9:30 12 and older, Fridays 2:30-3:30 12 and under.

 

 

 

Flipside Tumbling, Trampoline & Cheer

Established in 2005, we are a USA Gymnastics certified club located in Syracuse, Utah.  We follow their guidelines and skill level progressions and techniques.  Our facility has 8,770 square feet. We teach Power Tumbling, Trampoline, Double-mini Trampoline, Cheer Tumbling and All-Star Cheerleading. We offer classes for all levels from beginners to elite. Our program differs from many other programs in the area because we are USAG certified, with USAG certified equipment.  The floor lengths and landing areas are the proper size. What you tumble on in our gym is what you would tumble on in a competition.  In fact we are asked to take our floor to tumbling competitions in the State of Utah every year.  We have a big foam pit that allows our more experienced athletes to learn advanced skills (such as fulls, double-fulls, and double backs etc.) safely.  In addition we also have competition trampoline and double-mini trampolines as well as a 50 foot tumble tramp. Athletes can perfect techniques on these apparatuses and then are more efficient when putting their skills on the floor.  We not only teach the basic skills correctly but we also have the knowledge and skill to teach the upper level athletes.  Many parents have complimented us on our ability to move the athletes to the next level as quickly as possible.

Mission Statement

We love what we do!

Our goal is to build strong athletes and strong character.  We will do this by helping athletes set goals and achieve them through hard work.  As they develop tumbling skills they will develop life skills.  We want athletes to develop an, "I can do it" attitude!  being active will be fun as it challenges their bodies and minds.

What Is Power Tumbling?

Power tumbling is performed on elevated runways, generally designed with fiberglass rods underneath, that help tumblers propel themselves higher than a basketball goal as they demonstrate speed, strength and skill whil executing a series of acrobatic maneuvers.  Explosive somersaults with multiple flips and twists are performed by the top-level contenders.

What is Trampoline?

As a sport, trampoline varies greatly from recreational bouncing.  International competitin trampolines are larger and more powerful than traditional "backyard" models, propelling trained athletes as high as 30 feet in the air during performances.  During two competitive routines of 10 skills each, upper-level athletes can easily demonstrate a graceful array of double, triple and twisting somersaults.
